Look...I am weaving!

What a great feeling that to get your loom warpped and start creating cloth. This cloth, when finished will be made into a jacket that will be shown at the SHCG Mother's Day Fashion Show. Now that the hard part is done..the designing, winding the warp, warping the loom, the weaving does not take much time at all. Of course my AVL compu-dobby loom makes things much easier for me. The woven pattern is an 8 harness block twill that I designed using Fiberworks PCW. A great design tool for weavers!

This will be a short post since I need to get back onto the loom and get the fabric woven. I am teaching Beginning Weaving at the John C. Campbell Folk School all next week, so I have to get this fabric done this week. I will also be blogging about my class next week to show off what my students create. Happy Weaving!!
